This Dutch version of Hangman was created by a Dutch-speaking developer, with great attention to the quality of the words included in the game. You will not encounter any machine translations here and all words have been validated against the current OpenTaal source file. The app contains over 100,000 words of three to twelve letters. The hangman is built in seven or ten steps.

The services we used for scoreboards and competitions are no longer available. We are working on a new solution for this.

Comments:
- The list is still being cleaned up. We consider some words less suitable for this game (e.g. some abbreviations and acronyms).
- Some acronyms that have become a concept are included (e.g. Comecon).
- Loan words are included (e.g. bodypaint).
- Flemish words are included (e.g. stoofhout).
